Hi my name is Nikki Welsh. As long as I can remember, I’ve been excited by all aspects of the employee training and development process, whether as a participant, a facilitator or as an instructional designer. Over the last three years, I have invested in my own development to improve my skills around employee training, instructional design and HR workforce development. I have completed courses and projects designed to advance my ability to deliver dynamic training and development experiences. I even learned how to build by own app!

 

What I love most about employee learning and development is the opportunity it gives an organization to build into their workforce and it gives an employee an opportunity to learn and grow. I believe in taking an authentic holistic approach to employee training and development, so it not only meets the business need but sets the employee up for continued success. This leads to a workforce that is more engaged and productive.

 

When not working, I enjoy mentoring young people that are preparing to enter the workforce. Helping them develop skills that aren’t often taught in school but come from real world experience.
